Switzerland & Germany: pushing out of our comfort zone

We’ve now arrived in countries where neither of us speaks the language, and we’ve continued to push out of our comfort zones in other ways too. Switzerland Lauterbrunnen, in the Berner Oberland region of Switzerland, is unbelievably gorgeous – exactly as I imagined Switzerland would be. There is a huge waterfall in town, an aqua blue river cutting through the valley, and the mountains are phenomenal. Paris: Crepes! French onion soup! Baguettes! We made it to Paris! Bryce and I took Elise to Paris when she was five or six, and we hit it hard when we were there. Lake District Though it took awhile to get here, I’m so glad I chose to visit the Lake District: an area where the Brits – and truly, people from all over the world! – regularly come to play outdoors.
